Asha Bhosle first married Lata Mangeshkar’s personal secretary Ganpat Rao Bhosle at the age of 16, with whom she had three children, Hemant, Varsha and Anand Bhosle. His second marriage was with R. D. Varman, from whom she has no children. Asha’s two children Hemant and Varsha have passed away. He is now survived by son Anand Bhosle, daughter-in-law Anuja Chitre, granddaughter Janai Bhosle and grandsons Ranjay Bhosle and Chaitanya Bhosle (son of Hemant Bhosle). Hemant Bhosale was married to Sajida, who converted from Islam to Hinduism and changed her name to Rama. However, in 2010, Rama filed for divorce from Hemant.
