Phoebe Dynevor and Regé-Jean Page were the original leads of Bridgerton when the romance series first premiered on Netflix back in December 2020. While Page departed the show after the first season, Dynevor came back for Bridgerton Season 2, which featured Jonathan Bailey and Simone Ashley as the leads.
Recently, the Thrash star shared that she would love to come back to the Regency show. However, fans will be disappointed to learn that Dynevor has not received a call from production as yet, and she has been waiting. Here’s what she had to say about playing Daphne on the Netflix series.
Phoebe Dynevor would like to come back to Bridgerton
In a conversation with Collider, Dynevor was asked if she was the one who left the global hit series. The actress said no and shared, “I would always come back if I was asked… I have not received a call and when I get that call I will be there if I can.” She also indicated the production didn’t know what to do with her character from the second season onward, as she called herself and Page the “ones that got away.”

Even during the shooting of Season 4, which was led by actors Luke Thompson and Yerin Ha, Dynevor had stated her willingness to come back for a special appearance. In case showrunner Jess Brownell is listening to her interview, Dynevor is waiting for your call!
The Netflix series is led by a new couple every season as the show, based on the romance novels of Julia Quinn, follows the love stories of each of the Bridgerton siblings from eldest Anthony (Bailey) to youngest Hyacinth (Florence Hunt), who are alphabetically named.
