New Delhi: Triumph has introduced the Tiger 900 Alpine Edition in global markets, and the bike is now heading to India as well. Bookings have already started across the country, which suggests deliveries could begin soon. The Alpine Edition is based on the standard Tiger 900 but comes with a set of useful additions instead of being just a cosmetic update.
This version is aimed at riders who want a more ready-to-use adventure motorcycle without spending extra on accessories later. Along with new colours and graphics, Triumph has focused on adding practical equipment that improves the overall riding experience.
What has changed
Triumph Tiger 900 Alpine Edition
The Tiger 900 Alpine Edition is not limited to visual changes. Unlike typical special editions, this one comes with several factory-fitted accessories. It offers riders a better-equipped motorcycle straight from the showroom without needing to customise it further.
Triumph has tried to make the bike more functional for touring and off-road use. This makes it a more convenient option for buyers who were anyway planning to add these features separately after purchase.
Features and engine details
The Alpine Edition includes accessories like an Akrapovic exhaust, engine protection bars, a centre stand, and fog lights. It also gets rider-focused features such as cornering ABS, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), My Triumph connectivity, a quickshifter, and electronically adjustable rear suspension. These additions are meant to improve comfort, safety, and ease of riding.
Mechanically, there are no changes. The motorcycle continues with the same 888 cc inline three-cylinder engine paired with a six-speed gearbox. It produces 106.5 bhp of power and 90 Nm of torque, just like the standard Tiger 900.
