Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday inaugurated the state-of-the-art laser, light and sound show at Smritika War Memorial located in Lucknow Cantonment. This initiative is a big step towards presenting the bravery and sacrifice of the Indian Army through modern technology.

30 minute multimedia show will show history of Indian Army

This Hindi multimedia show of about 30 minutes has been prepared with modern projection, sound and lighting technology. It effectively depicts the history of the Indian Army, its major achievements and its contribution to nation-building. The show is dedicated to the valor and glorious heritage of the Indian Armed Forces.

Glimpse of Major Wars and Operations

India’s major wars and operations are shown in detail in this show. In this, important aspects of the wars of 1947-48, 1962, 1965 and 1971 along with the contribution of ‘Operation Meghdoot’ and ‘Operation Vijay’ are also prominently included. Besides, the historical role of the army’s central command has also been depicted effectively.

Tribute to the heroes of Awadh region and Paramveer Chakra winners

In this presentation, the military tradition of Awadh region and the bravery of the ‘Param Vir Chakra’ winners there have been specially shown. This part connects the audience with the bravery of the field and its contribution in the defense of the country.
