Mauritius PM Navinchandra Ramgoolam Ayodhya Visit: Mauritius Prime Minister Navinachandra Ramgulam visited Ramlala and Ram Darbar in Ayodhya. CM Yogi welcomed, worship on Kubera Tila, security system strict, new strength will be on India-Mauritius relations.

Ayodhya, the city of Lord Ram, became a witness of a special moment on Friday, when Mauritius Prime Minister Navinchandra Ramgulam arrived here. The city was groomed with posters and decorations to welcome them. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath himself reached the airport and welcomed him warmly.

Tour of faith from Kashi to Ayodhya, Darshan of Ramlala and Kubera Tila

Before reaching Ayodhya, Ramgulam offered prayers at the historic Sri Kashi Vishwanath Temple located in Varanasi. He then reached the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi pilgrimage area directly, where he was given a traditional and intimate welcome.

Shri Ram Janmabhoomi pilgrimage area trustee Anil Mishra informed that Prime Minister Ramgulam will visit with about 30 members. He said, “After the darshan and worship of Ramlala, he will also go to the Ram Darbar. After this he will be informed about the Ram Janmabhoomi. Then he will worship at the Shiva temple at Kubera Tila. He will leave after having light food after worshiping.”

Strong security arrangements, new strength in India-clashes relations

The Ayodhya Police has made unprecedented security arrangements regarding this high-profile tour. SSP Gaurav Grover said, “Extensive preparations have been made in the entire district. The administration and police officers have inspected the site several times. Security forces from outside have also been deployed. A minute-to-minute schedule has been fixed from the arrival of the Prime Minister to the departure.”

Earlier on Thursday, bilateral talks took place between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and PM Ramgulam. The two leaders agreed to deepen cooperation in many areas including infrastructure, health, digital technology, energy, marine security. This visit of Ramgulam is the first foreign tour of his current term, which will continue in India from 9 to 16 September.
