There are preparations to organize a big employment fair every month in the district and division.
The Employment Department has taken a big step to connect the youth of the state with employment. The objective of this initiative is to provide direct employment opportunities to the unemployed youth registered in the state. Under this scheme, regular employment fairs will be organized at the district and divisional level, so that direct communication can be established between companies and youth at the local level.
The department believes that this will not only speed up the employment process but will also increase the participation of the private sector. Rojgar Sangam portal has also been strengthened for the youth looking for employment. By registering on this portal, youth can get information about the opportunities available by various companies and departments and can apply directly.
There should not be any kind of hindrance in organizing big job fairs. For this, an amount of up to Rs 10 lakh will be made available at each district and divisional level, so that arrangements for the event can be made in a better way.
This initiative can play an important role in reducing the problem of unemployment, because it will provide employment opportunities at the local level and will also reduce migration of youth. At present, 51,85,829 unemployed people are registered in the Employment Bureau in 18 regional offices, 57 district offices and 12 universities under the Employment Department in the state.

Our priority is to connect more and more youth of the state with employment. Through large employment fairs, youth will get the opportunity to directly connect with companies and the selection process will also be transparent. A massive employment fair will be organized under the chairmanship of the District Magistrate in which the target will be to provide jobs to at least one thousand youth. For the first time, a budget of Rs 10 lakh has been set by Uttar Pradesh Employment Mission. Till now employment offices used to organize employment fairs from their own budget. Every district and division will decide the day and date of the fair as per its own. A target has been set to complete it in the current financial year. Instructions have been given to organize a massive employment fair from this month.
