6. Fresh and pure water should always be offered to the Tulsi plant, not stale and impure water.
7. If the basil plant dries up, immediately plant it in the water.
8. Tulsi should not be touched even during solar and lunar eclipse.
9. It is auspicious to keep the Tulsi plant in the north or east direction.
10. A lamp of pure ghee should be lit near Tulsi every evening.
