New Delhi: Two men robbed a 47-year-old employee of a private firm of Rs 25 lakh in Subhash Place on Friday, April 10.
The victim, identified as Mangal, said that he was going to the house from Kucha Mahajani on his motorcycle when two men allegedly intercepted him and snatched the cash from him and fled from the scene.
The victim was a staff member of the company, and he was carrying funds from Ashok Vihar to an NSP office. The accused fired two rounds and forcibly snatched a cash bag from him and fled.
Upon receiving the information, Subash Place police arrived at the scene. The Additional DCP of the North West District also inspected the scene of the crime.

Robbery at gunpoint
In another incident, two bike-borne criminals tried to rob a businessman and his grandfather on Wednesday, April 8. The accused tried to rob them at gunpoint in Madhu Vihar, East Delhi, for about Rs 1 lakh.
The victim’s complaint said that the incident occurred around 10:30 pm, near a banquet hall, when two unidentified men approached them on a motorcycle.
One of them threatened them with a firearm and snatched the bag, which had the cash. The victims chased them, during which the accused fired in the air and then discarded the bag and the weapon before absconding.
