Nuwan Thushara: Nuwan Thushara has taken a surprising U-turn by taking a shocking decision. This right-arm fast bowler has decided to withdraw the case filed against the Sri Lanka Cricket Board. Not only this, Thushara has also apologized to the Sri Lankan Board. Sri Lanka Cricket Board had not given NOC to Thushara, after which he had gone to court against the Cricket Board. But now he has apologized for this step. According to sources, Thushara wrote an email to the Sri Lanka Cricket Board saying that his intention was not to trouble the board.

Thushara withdrew the case

Nuwan Thushara said that he was in search of justice. They felt that injustice had been done to them. At present the date of this case is 23rd April and now it seems that the case will be withdrawn before that. Let us tell you that the rule of Sri Lanka Cricket Board is that unless a player passes the fitness test, he cannot play in foreign leagues. Currently, Pathum Nissanka and Dasun Shanaka are playing in IPL for Sri Lanka. He had passed the fitness test. On the other hand, Pathirana and Thushara have not yet reached India to participate in the IPL. Leg spinner Wanendu Hasaranga is also out of IPL.

Linde gets a chance in place of Hasaranga

Wanendu Hasaranga was bought by Lucknow Supergiants at the base price of Rs 2 crore but this player was out of IPL due to poor fitness. Now in place of this player, South African spinner George Linde has been included in the squad. Linde has experience of 250 T20 matches and has taken 218 wickets.
