BJP released its manifesto in Kolkata regarding Bengal elections, which has been named “Bharosa Patra”. Calling for creating ‘Sonar Bangla’ and change of power, the party has made several big promises, including implementation of UCC within 6 months if government is formed, free education to girls from KG to PG, 33% reservation in government jobs and Rs 3000 every month in women’s accounts. Apart from this, it has been said to bring a white paper on the alleged corruption of the TMC government, implement the Seventh Pay Commission, stop infiltration and cow smuggling, open technology institutes in North Bengal and implement all the central schemes including Ayushman in the state.
