New Delhi: The 61st Femina Miss India subtitle awards took place in high style in Mumbai on the night of April 9, 2026. Hosted by Femina Miss India, owned by The Times Group, the ceremony celebrated the 30 state winners who have advanced in this year’s competition. The evening honoured individuality, confidence and stage presence, while spotlighting the evolving face of Indian beauty. Designer Anmol Singh of Banjara Trail unveiled a striking runway showcase inspired by the theme “Connecting the DOTS”, an ode to Daughters of This Soil.
Intricate patchwork, crafted with delicate hand-beaded elements, shaped each ensemble and reflected detailed Indian artistry. Film, fashion and music personalities added further sparkle to the celebration. Anmol Singh’s creations for Banjara Trail stood out for their detailed construction. Each garment featured carefully stitched beaded fragments, assembled without a single stretch of continuous fabric. Star presence adds glamour
The evening welcomed familiar names, including Anu Malik, Celina Jaitly, Madhur Bhandarkar, Vindu Dara Singh, Terence Lewis, Nehal Chudasama, Pooja Chopra, Tanuj Virwani, Mukesh Chhabra, Ken Ghosh, Harmeet Singh and Abhimanyu Dassani. Singer duo Sukriti and Prakriti Kakar delivered an energetic performance that lifted the mood inside the venue.

The 61st edition began last November with a nationwide talent hunt across five zones, culminating in 30 finalists now training in Mumbai under industry mentors. The winner, to be crowned on April 18 in KIIT Bhubaneswar, will represent India at Miss World.
