Delhi Police Security Plan for Parliament March: The monsoon session of Parliament starts today, Monday. But even before the beginning of the session, the country’s capital Delhi has been turned into an impenetrable fort. Delhi Police has prepared such a maze of security in Lutyens Zone and surrounding areas that even a bird cannot hit it. More than 5,000 soldiers, water cannons and Vajra vehicles have been deployed at every nook and corner. In such a situation, the question is arising that why such a big blockade has been suddenly imposed in Delhi and what is going to happen in the capital today?
Why did Delhi become a cantonment?
Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) has today announced ‘Chalo Sansad’ march from Jantar Mantar to Parliament House. This demonstration is being organized to demand improvement in the education system of the country and the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over the rigging in the NEET examination. The Parliament session is also starting from today itself, hence Delhi Police and intelligence agencies do not want to take any risk. The police is taking updates of the crowd gathering at Jantar Mantar every hour so that immediate action can be taken if needed.
New Delhi divided into 15 zones, heavy security arrangements
Heavy police force deployed
To maintain law and order, Delhi Police has prepared a big master plan for security. More than 5,000 police and paramilitary force personnel are deployed in New Delhi area since 4 am. Apart from this, more than 25 battalions of Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) have also been deployed, which also includes women policemen.

15 security zones were created
The entire New Delhi has been divided into 15 parts and the command of each zone has been handed over to senior police officers (DCP and Special Commissioner). Orders have been given to deal strictly with those who create ruckus, vandalize or damage government property.

Water cannon and Vajra vehicle deployed
To deal with any situation, water cannons and anti-riot ‘Vajra’ vehicles have been deployed at sensitive places.
No entry in these VVIP areas of Delhi, keep an eye on metro also
In view of security, Delhi Police has completely banned any kind of demonstration or gathering of crowd at many major places. These areas include Vijay Chowk, Parliament Street, Prime Minister’s House, Rashtrapati Bhavan, India Gate, Sevarath and Transport Bhawan. Along with this, intensive checking of every vehicle is being done on all the routes towards New Delhi. Barricades have been installed at various places. According to police sources, if necessary, some metro stations in New Delhi area can also be closed for some time. Nearby hospitals have also been put on alert.
Section 163 implemented in Delhi
New Delhi’s DCP Sachin Sharma has clarified that no permission was taken from the police for this Parliament march, nor has any permission been given for any such rally. Section 163 (BNSS) is in force in the entire New Delhi district, which means that 5 or more people cannot gather at one place. Legal action will be taken against those who break the rules. On the other hand, social activist Sonam Wangchuk from the hospital bed and CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke, who is on fast at Jantar Mantar, have appealed to their supporters to keep this march completely peaceful and follow the police guidelines.
