Hyderabad: Maximum temperatures will likely rise gradually by 2-3°C during the next three days in Telangana, India Meteorological Department said.
Dry weather is expected to prevail over the next few days and temperatures will likely hover at about 41-44°C in Adilabad, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Hanumakonda, Jagtial, Jangaon, Jogulamba Gadwal, Mahabubnagar, Khammam, Mancherial, Nagarkurnool, Narayanpet, Nirmal, Wanaparthy over the next week.
According to weather blogger T Balaji, a heatwave is likely to hit the state from April 12. Mercury in North and East Telangana may reach 44°C for ten consecutive days and Hyderabad may witness temperatures upward of 40°C over the next ten days.

Telangana Director of Public Health and Family Welfare issued an advisory for protection against the heatwave.
The Do’s and Don’ts are as follows:
Stay hydrated: Drink sufficient water as and when possible, even if you are not thirsty. Use ORS and consume drinks like lemon water, butter milk, carry water during travelling time, east seasonal fruits and vegetables.
Wear thin, lose cotton garments, cover your head, wear shoes or chappals while going out in the sun.
Stay indoors as much as possible, limit outdoor activity and keep windows and curtains closed during the day and stay alert.
Avoid going out in the sun, especially from 12 pm to 3 pm, avoid strenuous activity, do not go out barefoot, avoid cooking during peak hours, avoid consuming alcohol, or drinks with large amounts of sugar.

Nausea and vomiting, hot and red and dry skin, throbbing headache, anxiety, dizziness, rapid heart beat, muscle weakness, rapid, shallow breathing.
