Bangladesh Domestic Cricketers Salary: With the change of power in the Bangladesh Cricket Board, the fortunes of the players there have also started taking a turn. Tamim Iqbal, who has become the new president of BCB, has decided to increase the salary of both men and women cricketers of Bangladesh. The salaries of the players have increased more than double. Apart from this, the match fees they receive for T20 and ODI have also been increased.
Tamim Iqbal took a big decision as soon as he became BCB President
Former Bangladesh cricketer Tamim Iqbal has currently taken charge of BCB for 3 months only. But, regardless of that, in his second meeting after assuming the tenure, he took a big decision to increase the salary structure of the domestic players by changing it. This is the first time after the year 2023, when the salary of Bangladesh’s domestic cricketers has been increased.
Match fees of women cricketers doubled
According to the new salary structure after Tamim Iqbal’s decision, the match fees of Bangladesh women cricketers have been directly increased to double in limited overs format. Now he will get 10000 taka for every T20 match and 15000 taka for playing one ODI. Earlier the match fee was only 5000 taka. In the longer format i.e. red ball cricket, the same match fee is Taka 20000.
