Tempest K-drama
The drama follows Seo Mun-ju, portrayed by Jun Ji-hyun, a former UN ambassador who’s admired for her integrity and sharp instincts. Her character finds herself entangled in a dangerous conspiracy that threatens the Korean peninsula’s stability. To uncover the truth, she joins forces with Baek San-ho, played by Gang Dong-won, a mysterious ex-mercenary whose motives remain uncertain. According to IMDb, the premise revolves around “a former diplomat uncovers a conspiracy that threatens the stability of the Korean peninsula”. The plot explores shifting alliances, national security dilemmas, and emotional conflict against a backdrop of political unrest.

Tempest premiered on September 10, 2025, at 8:30 pm KST, with three episodes released on the opening day. Indian viewers were able to stream the first instalments on JioHotstar from 5:00 pm IST, while international audiences gained access through Disney+ or Hulu, depending on their region. Following the debut, two fresh episodes are being rolled out weekly, culminating in a two-part finale scheduled for October 1, 2025.
