Indore’s Family Court has given an important decision regarding the ongoing divorce case between Asaram Bapu’s son Narayan Sai, who is serving a sentence in a rape case, and his daughter-in-law Janaki Devi. According to which, now Narayan Sai will not only divorce Janaki Devi, but will also have to pay an alimony of Rs 2 crore for her living. That means the court has approved the divorce case of both of them. Also a strict order has been given that Rs 2 crore will have to be paid within three months.
Wife had made serious allegations against Narayan Sai
Actually, Janaki Devi had separated from Narayan Sai and was living separately for a long time. In 2013, he had accused Narayan Sai and Asaram of mental torture and domestic violence. Also, her lawyer told that Janaki Devi had filed a divorce petition in 2018, under which the court had ordered 50 thousand rupees per month for maintenance to Narayan Sai, but even after the court’s decision, not a single rupee was given to the victim in these 8 years. Although his lawyer appealed repeatedly, no hearing took place. Now the court has given a verdict of great relief to them.

Janaki Devi is the wife of Asaram’s son Narayan Sai and his daughter-in-law, also known as Janaki Harpalani. Janaki was married in 2008, but she got separated from Narayan Sai since 2013.
