Radhakrishnan became the 15th Vice President of the country

Please tell that this took place on July 21 after a sudden resignation of former Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar for health reasons. Out of a total of 781 MPs, 767 voted in the election. Radhakrishnan was the NDA candidate and has now become the new Vice President of the country.

He became the Governor of Jharkhand and Maharashtra

CP Radhakrishnan was born in Tiruppur district of Tamil Nadu and joined the RSS from the age of 17. His political career began in 1998 when he was elected BJP MP from Coimbatore. He reached the Lok Sabha twice in a row during the Atal Bihari Vajpayee government. Later he was also a Tamil Nadu BJP President and a member of the party’s national executive. Radhakrishnan was the chairman of the Care Board from 2016 to 2020 and also contested the Lok Sabha elections several times. In 2023, he was made the Governor of Jharkhand, where he worked on empowerment of tribal communities. He then became the 24th Governor of Maharashtra in 2024. He is also known for good relations with allies and opposition.
