However, the court raised questions on this argument and said that if he was mentally unstable, then how did he drive a car from Pilibhit to Chandigarh and from there to Delhi.
The accused had entered inside by breaking gate number 2
According to the information, at around 2:10 pm on Monday afternoon, the accused broke gate number 2 of Delhi Assembly with his car and entered inside. After this he went straight to the car of Assembly Speaker Vijendra Gupta. It is being told that he sat in the car and placed a bouquet and a garland of flowers there and then fled from the spot. After the incident, Delhi Police took swift action and arrested Sarabjit and his two alleged helpers at around 4:15 pm.
