Akshay Kumar and Vamika Gabbi’s film Bhoot Bangla is one of the most exciting releases of April 2026. This horror comedy film is the comeback movie of Akshay and director Priyadarshan on the silver screen after 14 years. It stars Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Asrani, Tabu, Mithila Parkar in lead roles. Just a few hours ago, the makers of Bhoot Bangla have released the trailer of the film. Now it is known where the film will be streamed after its release in theatres. Usually any film comes on the streaming platform 45 to 60 days after its release in theatres. If we believe the information given on the poster of the film, the film will be streamed on Netflix. Release date of Bhoot Bangla changed due to Dhurandhar 2
Let us tell you that Bhoot Bangla was earlier scheduled to be released in theaters on April 10. However, this horror comedy film of Akshay was postponed for a week due to the tremendous success of Dhurandhar 2. An official statement from the filmmakers had said that considering the stupendous box office success of Dhurandhar 2, by pushing Bhoot Bangla by a week, we are ensuring that both the films get the theater space, marketing focus and audience attention that they truly deserve. The makers also said that they always want to give priority to the convenience of the audience going to theaters and try to entertain them to the fullest through their films. The film will now be released on 17th April and its paid preview show will be held on 16th April. Let us tell you that the film is produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor’s Balaji Motion Pictures and Akshay’s Cape of Good Films. The script of the film has been written by Priyadarshan, Rohan Shankar and Abhilash Nair.
