According to the Panchang, Chaturdashi Tithi of Krishna Paksha of Vaishakh month will start on April 15, 2026 at 10:31 pm. This date will end on April 16 at 8:11 pm. In such a situation, according to Nishita Kaal, the monthly Shivratri fast in the month of Vaishakh will be on 15 April 2026.
Vaishakh Masik Shivratri Puja Muhurat (Vaishakh Masik Shivratri 2026 Puja Muhurat)
- On the day of monthly Shivratri, Brahma Muhurta will be from 4.50 am to 5.36 am.
- Twilight time will be from 6.55 am to 7.18 am.
- Amrit Kaal will last from 7:37 AM to 9:10 PM.
- Nishita Muhurta will be from 12.15 am to 1.01 am. It would be best to worship Shiva in this auspicious time.
Vaishakh Masik Shivratri Puja Vidhi
On the day of monthly Shivaratri, take a pledge to worship Lord Shiva in your home temple or Shivalaya. Then anoint Shivling with water, milk, curd, honey and Ganga water. After this, offer Belpatra, Dhatura, Aak flowers and white sandalwood. Then offer hemp, fruits and sweets to Lord Shiva. Chant Om Namah Shivay mantra and recite Shiva Chalisa. At night during Nishita period, anoint Shivalinga again and perform aarti.
