Initial police investigation has revealed that the white Tata Sierra car used in the incident is registered in the name of Sarabjit Singh. Two other people present in the car with him have also been detained and are being interrogated.

After the incident, the country’s Home Minister Amit Shah spoke to Delhi Assembly Speaker Vijender Gupta on phone and got information about the entire matter.
