Delhi Assembly Car Incident: Police have arrested three accused including the driver in the case of car breaking into gate number 2 of Delhi Assembly. Infiltration into the assembly premises by a registered car in Pilibhit, UP has raised big questions on the security arrangements of the capital.
There was panic in the country’s capital when a car suddenly broke the gate of the assembly and entered inside. This incident happened in a very sensitive area, where there is usually tight security. As soon as the car entered inside, the security agencies were alerted and there was a commotion in the entire complex. Now the police have arrested three accused including the driver in this case and their interrogation is going on.

This incident happened at Gate No. 2 of Delhi Assembly. According to the information, a car with Uttar Pradesh number suddenly broke the gate and entered the assembly complex. After coming inside the car, a person came out and left a bouquet there. After this incident, there was chaos in the entire area and security agencies immediately became active.

Three accused including driver arrested
In this case, Delhi Police took immediate action and arrested three people including the driver of the car. According to the police, the accused were caught with the car from Roop Nagar area of Delhi. The accused driving the car has been identified as Sarabjeet. The recovered car is said to be registered in his name.
The car is registered in Pilibhit, UP.
Investigation has revealed that this car is registered in Pilibhit district of Uttar Pradesh. The car number is said to be UP-26 AZ 8090. The police are currently interrogating the accused and trying to find out what was their motive behind entering the assembly like this.
Police Commissioner reached the spot
As soon as information about the incident was received, Delhi Police Commissioner Satish Golchha himself reached the spot. He held a meeting with the officials and took information about the entire incident and gave instructions to take strict action. Local police unit, special cell and other central agencies are also involved in the investigation of this case.
CRPF soldiers were deployed at the time of the incident
It is being told that when this incident happened, Central Reserve Police Force personnel were deployed at the VIP gate. However, no explosives were found in the bouquet kept from the car. Despite this, such an incident in the assembly complex, one of the most sensitive areas of the capital, has raised big questions on the security arrangements.
Home Minister Amit Shah took information
After the incident, Union Home Minister Amit Shah spoke to Delhi Assembly Speaker Vijendra Gupta on phone and got information about the entire matter. The speaker said that the police is investigating the matter and the real reason behind the incident may be revealed soon.
AAP raised questions on security arrangements
Aam Aadmi Party MLA Sanjeev Jha has also raised questions on the security arrangements regarding this incident. He said that such a car entering a high-security place like the assembly is a serious security lapse. If the assembly is not safe then questions arise on the safety of the general public.
