When will Tamil Nadu class 10 results be announced? Answer sheet evaluation begins today

Chennai: The evaluation of Class 10 public examination answer sheets under the Tamil Nadu State Board syllabus commences today. According to officials, the results are scheduled to be released on May 20. The Class 10 public examinations began on March 11, with a total of 882,806 school students and 13,744 private candidates appearing.

In a circular issued to District Educational Officers, the Directorate of Government Examinations has instructed that evaluation centers be allocated in each district based on the number of students who appeared for the exams. To ensure the answer sheet evaluation process is completed without any delays, the Directorate has directed that all eligible teachers be engaged for this duty.

Instructions have been issued to allow teachers who teach in the Tamil medium to evaluate only Tamil-medium answer sheets, while teachers who teach in the English medium are permitted to evaluate only English-medium answer sheets.

Officials have stated that the Department of Examinations plans to release the results on May 20, following the completion of the answer sheet evaluation process. It is noteworthy that while the Class 10 results were released on May 16 last year, this year’s results have been scheduled for May 20, a date adjusted in light of the ongoing elections.

Once the results are published, students can access them by entering their registration number and date of birth on the official websites: www.tnresults.nic.in and www.dge.tn.gov.in. Meanwhile, students and parents are advised to await the official announcement and are requested not to place their trust in any false information circulating on social media platforms.
