These results really show that what people say and how the audience reacts can make or break a movie, no matter the region. Let’s dig into the details!
Vaazha 2 box office collection Day 4
Among the three releases, Vaazha 2 has clearly emerged as the weekend’s strongest performer. The film, which stars Hashir H, Alan Bin Siraj, Ajin Joy and Vinayak V, hit theatres on April 2. Directed by Savin SA and written by Vipin Das, the coming-of-age drama has steadily grown over its first four days.
According to box office tracker Sacnilk, the film recorded its biggest single-day earnings on Sunday with Rs 8.40 crore net in India. Screened across roughly 1,838 shows, the film witnessed an impressive 85 per cent occupancy, reflecting a noticeable rise in audience footfall.

The sequel follows four friends—Hashir, Alan, Ajin and Vinayak—who struggle against the label of being underachievers. The story explores their journey into adulthood as they confront expectations, responsibility and personal ambition.
Raakaasa box office collection
Meanwhile, the Telugu fantasy-comedy thriller Raakaasa, starring Sangeeth Shobhan and Nayan Sarika, has experienced a steadier but less enthusiastic response since its April 3 release.
