Delhi Weather: Sunny day to give way to night rain; IMD issues yellow alert for April 7-8

New Delhi: The weather in the national capital has changed significantly as April begins. In the first six days of the month, Delhiites experienced thunderstorms, rain, strong winds, and even dust storms in some areas. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), western disturbances are continuously passing over the capital.

The weather is expected to be clear today (6 April), with partly cloudy skies dominating the day. However, with fresh western disturbances approaching, there are chances of light rain in the evening or late at night.

On Sunday, the minimum temperature was recorded at 20.1 degrees Celsius, while the maximum ranged between 32 and 34 degrees Celsius. A similar temperature profile is expected for Monday; the minimum will be around 18 to 20 degrees, while the maximum is expected to range between 33 and 35 degrees Celsius.
