is on a historic box office run and it has crossed the Rs 1,000 crore mark in India, making it the first Bollywood film to do so.

While the spotlight has largely been on its scale, records, performances, and direction, Sara Arjun has shifted the narrative by acknowledging the countless individuals working behind the scenes. In a heartfelt social media note, Sara paid tribute to the “unsung heroes” of the film, saying that the success of such a massive project is not just built on star power but on the dedication of an entire crew.

Sara Arjun’s emotional note for Team Dhurandhar

Sara began her note by recalling her first meeting with director Aditya Dhar, describing a moment that left a lasting impression on her. She wrote about recognising early on that he was destined to create something special for cinema. Looking back at the journey, she wrote how the scale and ambition of the project became increasingly evident with time.

One of the most striking aspects of her note was her mention of what she called ‘peak detailing’ – a term being used to describe Aditya Dhar’s brilliance on social media. Sara explained that while working on the film, it is easy to overlook the intricate effort that goes into every frame. She wrote, “But the peak detailing we all miss along the way hit me only when I looked back, after it was all said and done, and saw the army of people standing outside the frame.” Her post went on to thank a wide range of contributors, starting with the director and his team, whom she described as the architects of the film’s vision.

She extended her gratitude to the producers and production teams, acknowledging their role in helping the crew to overcome challenges and ensuring that the film reached the screen. Sara also shed light on the work of the cinematography team, led by the director of photography, for capturing both the scale and emotional depth of the story. She praised the casting team for assembling a lineup that perfectly fit the narrative, as well as the costume and makeup departments for bringing authenticity and character depth to the screen.

Music and sound were another key focus of her appreciation. She credited the composers, singers, and background score artists for creating the emotional heartbeat of the film. Similarly, she acknowledged the editor and VFX teams for enhancing performances and shaping the film’s visual storytelling. The production design team received special mention for building the film’s expansive world from scratch, while the safety and stunt crews were recognised for their dedication and risks taken to ensure high-octane action sequences looked pitch perfect. Sara also paid tribute to the lighting, sound, and spot teams for everything that they did to make Dhurandhar and Dhurandhar 2 really grand.

In a beautiful conclusion, Sara stated that while actors may be the faces seen on posters, it is the crew that forms the backbone of cinema. She ended the note by writing, “Thank you to the entire crew of Dhurandhar. History has been made.”

The actress also shared BTS pics from Dhurandhar set with Ranveer Singh and Aditya Dhar too along with the emotional note.
