RCB reduce CSK to a pulp with highest score of IPL 2026

New Delhi: Royal Challengers Bengaluru smashed IPL 2026’s highest score as they posted 250 for three after Chennai Super Kings won the toss and elected to field on Sunday.

The defending champions were bold and agressive fro the very first ball as superb rearguard hitting from Tim David (70 not out off 25 balls) propelled them to their highest score against CSK.

At their home ground and in a belter of a track at the M Chinnaswamy stadium, RCB scored 97 runs off their last 10 overs with David bludgeoning three boundaries and eight sixes.

Devdutt Padikkal pitched in with 29-ball 50 with the help of five boundaries and two sixes while opener Phil Salt made 46 off 30 deliveries, studded with three boundaries and two sixes.

Virat Kohli contributed 28 off 18 balls wirh two boundaries and a six while skipper Rajat Partidar (48 off 19 balls 1×4, 6×6).
