PM Financial Assistant to Uttarakhand: PM Narendra Modi has announced a help of Rs 1200 crore to Uttarakhand due to rain and flood damage. The families of those who die in the natural disaster will get 2-2 lakh rupees.
Narendra modi visited dehradun: Heavy rains and floods have caused heavy losses in Uttarakhand. PM Narendra Modi reached Dehradun on Thursday. He reviewed the flood situation and damage due to cloudburst, rains and landslides in the affected areas of Uttarakhand.
PM Modi assisted 1200 crores to Uttarakhand
The Prime Minister held an official meeting in Dehradun to review relief and rehabilitation works in Uttarakhand. He announced financial assistance of Rs 1200 crore for Uttarakhand. PM Modi emphasized the need to adopt a multi -faceted approach to help the entire region and its people. This will include measures such as the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, rebuilding homes, renovation of national highways, reconstruction of schools, providing relief through the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund and distributing mini kits for animals.
Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin, financial assistance will be provided to the eligible families whose houses have been damaged due to floods under the “Special Project” introduced by the Government of Uttarakhand for reconstruction of houses in rural areas. The central government has already sent inter-ministerial central parties to Uttarakhand. These will visit the states to assess the loss and further assistance will be considered based on their detailed report.
The families of those who die due to rain and floods will get 2 lakh rupees
PM Modi expressed his condolences to the families of people who lost their lives due to rain and floods. Said that the central government will work closely with the state governments in this difficult time and provide all possible assistance.

The PM met the families of Uttarakhand who have recently been affected by natural disasters including landslides and floods. He expressed his solidarity to all the victims and expressed his heartfelt condolences to the families who have lost their loved ones. Prime Minister Modi also announced an ex -gratia amount of Rs 2 lakh for the nearest families of the deceased and Rs 50,000 for the seriously injured people in floods and related disasters.
