Hyderabad: A heartbreaking news has come from Karimnagar, Telangana. Here a father brutally killed his own 4 year old twin daughters. This incident happened after a family quarrel. The accused has been identified as Kachchu Srisailam, resident of Jubilee Nagar, Karimnagar Rural. He killed his daughters Geetanshi and Geetanvika. This incident happened on Friday evening, which has shocked the entire area.
According to the police, Srisailam was married to Mounika 6 years ago. He always wanted a son, but when twin daughters were born he became worried. Police said that since the birth of their daughters, he used to constantly fight with his wife. There was an argument in the house on the same issue on Friday also. After this Srisailam took the girls towards the fields. Initial investigation has revealed that he threw both the girls into a well built there, due to which they died.
During the search, first Geetanshi’s body was found in the well. A search operation was carried out for hours with the help of divers for the second girl, after which Geetanvika’s body was also recovered. Karimnagar Rural Circle Inspector A. Niranjan Reddy said that the police is also investigating whether the girls were poisoned before throwing them in the well. After the incident, local people caught Srisailam, beat him up and then handed him over to the police. At present he is in police custody. Assistant Commissioner Vijay Kumar also reached the spot and took stock of the situation. Seeing the anger of the people in the area, heavy police force has been deployed so that there is no ruckus while collecting evidence.
