The district administration and municipal teams reached bulldozers for illegal occupation and construction around the Mahakal temple in Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh). The administration had already issued notices to the respective houses, but the houses were not vacated within the stipulated deadline. After this, action was taken from the bulldozer amidst tight security today. Administrative officials and security forces were present on the spot during the action. There was an atmosphere of chaos between the local people and the landlords. The administration has taken this step to maintain the area around the Mahakal temple and to ensure action under the law.
