‘Honey Singh Aur Badshah Dono Ko Notice Issue Kare Gaye Hai’: Lawyer Opens Up About Petition Against Song Volume 1 – Watch Video

Yo Yo Honey Singh and Badshah have made it to the headlines for a wrong reason. Their song Volume 1, which was released around two decades ago, has grabbed everyone’s attention once again. A petition was filed in the Delhi High Court against the song by Hindu Shakti Dal, and the court ordered the immediate removal of the song from all social media and streaming platforms.

Recently, lawyer Rupali Panwar spoke to the media about the petition and revealed that both singers have been sent a notice. She said, “This petition has been filed for Honey Singh’s song Volume 1. The Honourable High Court has taken a very strict stance on this matter. They have even refused to mention the full name of the song in the order, saying it is so vulgar and obscene. And they have clearly stated in their order that such songs are against the interests of women, as they depict women as a commodity (sic).”

“Because of this, the court has now stated that the song will be completely removed from YouTube and all other platforms. We’ve made Facebook and Spotify the respondents, but the song is viral on Instagram also, so the court has given us some time to find more URLs so the song can be completely removed,” she added.
