The victims have been identified as 26-year-old Farhat and her daughters, 8-year-old Umera and 6-year-old Ayesha.&nbsp;</p><img><p>The deceased woman’s father, Sk Ali, alleged that his son-in-law, Md Azharuddin, murdered his wife and two children by throwing them into the pool and attempted to pass it off as an accident.</p><p>The swimming pool near the Warangal-Khammam National Highway belonged to the family and was also their main source of income. On Wednesday night, Farhat went near the pool with her daughters and some other family members. Just a few minutes later, people found all three of them drowned in the water. Locals and relatives rushed them to a hospital, but doctors declared them dead.</p><img><p>Farhat’s husband, Azharuddin, told the police it was a tragic accident. According to him, his wife and daughters slipped into the pool and drowned. But other family members raised suspicion.</p><img><p>Farhat’s father, Ali, filed a police complaint, alleging that the couple had been fighting for some time, especially over Farhat’s pregnancy. The family claims Azharuddin did not want another daughter and was pressuring Farhat to get an abortion.</p><img><p>Police have inspected the crime scene, examined the swimming pool, and seized the CCTV footage. They are also questioning all family members. SI Srinivas stated that they have registered a case and are probing all angles. He added that they are waiting for the post-mortem and forensic reports to find out the truth. CP Sunpreet Singh (IPS) also took serious note of the incident in Punnely, Ainavolu mandal. He personally visited and inspected the site. He also reviewed the investigation progress with East Zone DCP Ankit Kumar and other officers.</p>
