Myntra CEO Nandita Sinha resigns; Sharon Pais from Flipkart Fashion can replace her

Kolkata: According to information circulating on Dalal Street, Flipkart is going to float an IPO in late 2026 or early 2027. Against this backdrop, Nandita Sinha, the CEO of Myntra, the fashion e-tailer of Flipkart, is exiting the company, say reports. Sharon Pais, who currently heads Flipkart Fashion, could replace Sinha to helm Myntra.

Sinha’s contribution

Nandita Sinha helmed Myntra since 2022. She spent a total of 10 years with the fashion e-tailer in different capacities. The company has achieved robust business growth in the past five years which witnessed a transformation from a high cash-burn model to sustainable profitability. In FY25, its reported strong profits which jumped 18 times over the FY24 numbers. In the Q4FY26 period, the International Brands portfolio’s growth shot up by 50% year on year, said reports. Myntra added 40 new international brands to its portfolio in Q4FY26 period.

Sinha’s exit is taking place amid reports of top-level changes in the management. In January this year, Myntra’s CFO Abhishek Gupta stepped down. In March, Flipkart group CFO Sriram Venkatraman also resigned.

Sinha fashioned strategic resets including a focus on its core strength of a wide assortment of brands. She also led a thrust on premium positioning.  Sinha joined the Flipkart group in 2013 as an associate director. She came to lead many segments such as home and furniture, lifestyle accessories and books. She was also in charge of the Big Billion Days sales between 2019 and 2022.

Sharon Pais was CBO for Myntra

Sharon Pais was the chief business officer in Myntra for a period of about four years. She has spent more than seven years with Flipkart. She also used to work for Procter & Gamble in different managerial roles. She is now going to return to Myntra and replace Nandita Sinha. Myntra happens to be the country’s largest fashion e-commerce platform.
