90 lakh electricity consumers will get relief, Surcharge burden will be removed through Samadhan Yojana!

CM Mohan Yadav announced that state level programs will be held in Jabalpur and Alirajpur on November 15 on Lord Birsa Munda Jayanti. Relief to farmers from Bhavantar Yojana, benefits of Samadhan Yojana to electricity consumers and the culture of Madhya Pradesh will be displayed in Bharat Parv.

Bhopal. Madhya Pradesh government is busy preparing to make the 150th birth anniversary of Lord Birsa Munda a historic one. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, during his address before the meeting of the Council of Ministers at Mantralaya on Monday, informed that state level programs will be organized in Jabalpur and Alirajpur on the occasion of Tribal Pride Day on 15th November. During this period, there will be Bhoomi Pujan and foundation stone laying of exhibitions, cultural events and development works in the memory of tribal heroes.

Big relief to farmers from Bhavantar Yojana

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Bhavantar Yojana has been implemented to provide relief to the food providers of the state. Under the scheme, funds will be transferred from Dewas to the accounts of farmers on November 13. He said that till now more than 9 lakh 36 thousand farmers have registered, and they are getting benefits from the better model rate. The Chief Minister directed the administration to cooperate in the ‘Aabhar Yatras’ organized by farmer organizations.

Relief to 90 lakh electricity consumers from Samadhan Yojana

The Chief Minister said that more than 90 lakh electricity consumers will get benefits under the Samadhan Yojana. Consumers whose bills are outstanding for three months or more will be given the benefit of 100 percent surcharge waiver. He appealed to the ministers that information about the scheme should be made available to every household.

Cultural performance of Madhya Pradesh in Bharat Parv

The Chief Minister said that a contingent from Madhya Pradesh will participate in the Bharat Parv being held in Kevadiya, Gujarat on November 11. A team of 75 artists will present a glimpse of the historical and cultural heritage of the state. This program is being organized to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

Big success achieved in anti-Naxal campaign

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that due to the effective surrender policy of the state government, Balaghat’s female Naxalite Sunita (reward amount Rs 14 lakh) has surrendered. Describing it as a big success of Madhya Pradesh Police, he said that the aim of the state government is to achieve complete control over Naxal activities by 31 March 2026.

Chief Minister congratulates Indian women’s cricket team

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav congratulated the Indian women’s cricket team on winning the World Cup 2025 and said that Chhatarpur’s fast bowler Kranti Gaudne has brought glory to the state. He announced that Kranti Gaur will be given an incentive amount of Rs 1 crore from the state government and he will be honored in Jabalpur on Lord Birsa Munda Jayanti.

Review of the Year of Industry and Employment: The Chief Minister said that the state government has made efforts at every level to make the Year of Industry and Employment meaningful. He directed to review industrial activities and employment generation in all the districts. Besides, he was also asked to give priority to the preparation of Pride Day programs of the districts.

Glimpse of Tribal Pride Day programs

The Chief Minister said that on Tribal Pride Day, exhibitions focusing on tribal heroes, folk songs and folk art performances, and stalls of tribal cuisine will be set up. Tribal youth, farmers and freedom fighters will be honoured. Participation of every section of the society will be ensured through essay competitions and cultural programs.
