8 Months Pregnant Deepika Padukone Continues Raaka Shoot, Plans To Wrap Film Before September Delivery

Deepika Padukone continues to balance her professional commitments as she prepares to welcome her second child. The actress, who is currently in the final months of her pregnancy, is reportedly staying focused on her work on Raaka. As Atlee’s ambitious sci-fi action spectacle progresses, Deepika is said to be working towards completing her portions before taking a break. Her continued commitment to the project has reportedly impressed the team, with the actress remaining involved in the ongoing schedule. Deepika Padukone is reportedly continuing to shoot for Raaka as the production moves closer to completing her portions. According to Filmfare, the actress is currently focused on wrapping up her work on the film before taking time off ahead of the arrival of her second child. A source close to the production told the publication, “Eight-months pregnant and due to deliver very soon,   is still shooting for Raaka. She is currently focused on wrapping up the shoot for the film before delivering her second baby in September. She is staying put on set and even working late into the night when required. The crew and teams are in absolute awe.”

The latest update came after reports about Deepika’s involvement in the film’s demanding schedule. Earlier, it was reported that the actress had continued shooting during her seventh month of pregnancy, with the production working around her schedule to complete the required portions. With her delivery expected in September, Deepika is now said to be in the final stretch of her work on Raaka. Her reported dedication has impressed those associated with the project as the team works towards completing the schedule.

Meanwhile, Deepika and Ranveer Singh are set to welcome their second child after becoming parents for the first time with the birth of their daughter, Dua, in 2024.

Directed by Atlee,   is an ambitious fantasy-action entertainer headlined by Allu Arjun and Deepika Padukone. The film boasts an ensemble cast including Mrunal Thakur, Rashmika Mandanna, Janhvi Kapoor, Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu and Jim Sarbh.

The highly anticipated project has been in development for several years, with Atlee previously revealing that the story took nearly two decades to shape.
