79th Independence Day: Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav made announcements for development, investment, employment, women empowerment and farmer welfare by hoisting the tricolor from the Red Parade Ground. In the speech, the roadmap of the state’s schemes in the direction of India developed from self -reliant India was introduced.
CM Mohan Yadav Independence Day Speech 2025: During the 79th Independence Day celebrations at the capital’s Lal Parade Ground, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav hoisted the tricolor and assured the people of the state in the new direction of development. In this program started with patriotic songs, he said that no obstruction will be tolerated in the way of welfare and development of the state.
The CM clarified that the government is fully committed to the empowerment of poor, youth, grain and women power. In his speech, he gave details of schemes and achievements on almost every sector from employment, investment, indigenous, sports, tourism, women empowerment and environmental protection to national security.
Why was this Independence Day speech this time special?
CM Yadav started his address while bowing to the sacrifices of the freedom struggle. He inspired the youth by mentioning heroes like Tantya Mama, Rani Durgavati, Chandrashekhar Azad and Rani Laxmibai. After this, he referred to Operation Sindoor and said that India has shown its strength to the world. Describing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 11 -year term as “full of unprecedented achievements”, he expressed confidence that India will soon become the third largest economy in the world.

Travel from “self -reliant India” to “developed India”
The CM said that self -reliant India is not just a government slogan, but the firm resolution of 140 crore Indians. He appealed to adopt ‘Vocal for Local’ and ‘Local for Global’ in every field, whether it is farming, technology or defense production.
2025 has been declared industry and employment year in the state. Investment of 2,200 crores in 15 new industrial areas, land allocation to more than 1,000 units and the possibility of about 93,000 employment generation, were included in their priorities.
Growing steps in investment, employment and sports
The Chief Minister said that in the next five years, 2.5 lakh government recruitments are targeted. PM Mitra Park in Dhar will give a new identity to the textile industry, while BEML in Raisen will give impetus to industrial development. Madhya Pradesh has shown glow in sports as well, internationally 6 gold, 9 silver and 6 bronze medals, while more than 200 medals at the national level were won by players.
New schemes for women and farmers
It was announced to increase the amount of Chief Minister Ladli Bahna Yojana from November to ₹ 1,500 per month. More than 1 million families have been financially capable of ‘Lakhpati Didi’ initiative. He also mentioned schemes like electricity in farmers, 32 lakh solar pumps, ₹ 2,600 per quintal wheat procurement and crop insurance amount to 14 lakh farmers.
Big change in infrastructure and connectivity
CM said that projects like Narmada Pragati Path, Vindhya Expressway and Bundelkhand Development Path will change the road network of the state. Irrigation in 55 lakh hectares, 78 lakh rural families will solve the water crisis to connect water and rivers to 78 lakh rural families. The airlines are also expanding, new airports have started and the goal is to have an airport every 150 km.
Tourism and culture get global platform
Projects from Bhopal to Gwalior, projects such as home sty, expansion of UNESCO heritage and religious road development are going on to promote tourism. Under the preparations for Simhastha-2028, 30 km long new ghats are being built on the Shipra River.
“The real flight still remains”
In the concluding conclusion, the CM gave a message with his song “Abhi to real flight remaining …” that the development journey of Madhya Pradesh has just started. He expressed confidence that in the coming years with the cooperation of the people, the state will create new records in every region.
