79th Independence Day 2025: On the occasion of Independence Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing the country from the ramparts of the Red Fort, has given a big relief in GST.
Great relief will be available on Diwali
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said in his speech that the country will be given great relief on the coming Diwali. He said that GST will be reduced by everyday needs. However, he did not say which products will reduce tax.
There will be a big improvement in GST
Prime Minister Modi said, “I am going to do your double Diwali work in this Diwali. In this Diwali, the countrymen are going to get a big gift. For the last eight years, we made a huge improvement in GST. Reduced tax burden in the whole country. Simplified tax burden. After eight years, there is a demand for time that we should review it.

Modi said- “We are bringing Next Generation GST reforms. They will become gifts for you within Diwali. Taxes will be reduced to huge quantities on general humanities needs. There will be a huge facility. MSME, small scale industries will benefit.”
