Ishaan Khatter made his Bollywood debut with Beyond The Clouds in 2017, however, he got recognition with Sairat’s Hindi remake, Dhadak, released on July 20, 2018. The Shashank Khaitan-directed film also starred Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead.
It was her debut film. Today, on the occasion of 7 years of Dhadak, Ishaan Khatter penned a special note to celebrate the moment with a nostalgic video.

Ishaan Khatter took to Instagram and shared a video of the snippets from Dhadak movie. One can see a cute, innocent boy, Ishaan, showing his love for Janhvi Kapoor’s character in the film. Dhadak’s title track can be heard in the background.

The post is going viral on social media and netizens can’t stop gushing over the nostalgic video. One user wrote, “Funny enough i watched this movie in Hindi like 3times and i no nothing in hindi but i had a blast ❤ Desperately craving,wanting a new movie with you we want the Damm movie please.” Another fan said, “Loved it but I hated the ending.”

Talking about Dhadak, it was produced by Karan Johar. The film also starred Ashutosh Rana, Aishwarya Narkar, Shalini Kapoor and others in key roles. It was a moderate success at the box office. Now, the makers are coming up with Dhadak 2 on August 1, which stars Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri in the lead roles. !
