69 billion dollars FDI, 27% contribution to exports, Gujarat with strong global contact becomes Gujarat: Bhupendra Patel | Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference

Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel addressed the program related to the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conferencing (VGRC). Ambassadors and mission heads of various countries participated in this event held in New Delhi.

Gandhinagar: Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel held a meeting with ambassadors and mission heads of various countries in New Delhi. During this, he said that Gujarat has become a strong global contact with 69 billion US dollars FDI and 27 percent contribution to exports.

Ambassador, High Commissioner and Representatives of about 45 countries were present in a dialogue meeting organized by the State Government in New Delhi as the first half of the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Confusion (VGRC). The Chief Minister said that due to the success of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit, which started in 2003 under the inspiration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Gujarat is now moving beyond the image of the ‘Merchant State’ to become the hub of the new age industry.

Bhupendra Patel said that Gujarat has become a pioneer state of the country with the center of industries of futuristic sectors such as AI, Space Tech, Fintech, Semiconductor, Defense and Aerospace, EV and Green Energy. Gujarat has become a bright symbol of growth, stability and appearances. Gujarat is a trusted partner for global investors.

The CM said that Gujarat has created the best destination for investment for foreign investors by providing policy -based governance, investors -friendly environment and well -to -do facilities. Connectivity and industrial ecosystems are strength of Gujarat. Gujarat has secured a leading state in logistics and exports with multimodal transport networks under the country’s longest beach, 49 ports and PM shift. Gujarat contributes 18% to the industrial production of the country.

Regarding VGRC, the Chief Minister said that this initiative will expand the success of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit in every region of the state. MSME will empower and will encourage regional balanced development.

He appealed to the ambassadors and partner countries to participate in the construction of the VGRC theme ‘regional aspirations, global ambitions’ and involved in the construction of incarnated, innovative and sustainable economy. Along with this, invited to participate in the upcoming regional conferencing with business, investment, technology and cultural exchange.

Sudhakar Dalela, Secretary, Economic Relations Division of the Ministry of External Affairs, said, “Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conferense is an important step after the success of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit. It will provide a wide service from the comprehensive plate of ‘Developed India@2047’ and ‘Developed Gujarat@2047’ to show the regional capabilities, encourage ground level development, encourage the development of ground level and local aspirations.

Pankaj Joshi, Chief Secretary, Gujarat, Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister, M.K. Das, Principal Secretary, Department of Industries Mamta Verma and Joint Secretary (Economic Diplomacy), Ministry of External Affairs, P.S. Gangadhar also addressed the meeting.
