The Chhattisgarh government has approved the opening of 6 new physiotherapy colleges in Manendragarh, Jashpur, Raigad, Bilaspur, Durg and Jagdalpur. These college, which is built at a cost of about 84 crores, will provide education, employment and better health services to the state.

The state government has taken a big decision to strengthen medical education. Now 6 new physiotherapy colleges will be set up in the state. This step will open new opportunities for the youth and the quality of health services will also be better in the coming times.
Which districts will open new physiotherapy colleges
According to the order of the Department of Medical Education, new physiotherapy colleges will be established in these districts:
- Manendragarh
- Jashpur
- Raigad
- Bilaspur
- Durg
- Jagdalpur
The government has approved Rs 83 crore 62 lakh for the construction of these colleges. Each college will cost about 13 crore 93 lakh rupees (about 14 crore). This budget will be set up not only on building buildings and laboratories, but also on equipment and modern infrastructure for students.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai said that the health of three crore people of Chhattisgarh and the future of the youth is the top priority of the government. 6 new physiotherapy colleges are not only the institute, but the foundation of a healthy and self -sufficient Chhattisgarh.
