Deepotsav 2025: Ayodhya is becoming the city of World Light, all this work is being done under the direction of Vice Chancellor Dr. Bijendra Singh under the direction of CM Yogi. 33 thousand volunteers are working day and night to make Ramnagari historic.
Ayodhya News: Under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, this time Ramnagari Ayodhya will bathe in such a supernatural aura of lamps, which will become an example for the whole world. Under the joint auspices of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University and District Administration, under the direction of Vice Chancellor Colonel Dr. Bijendra Singh, preparations to give a historic shape to Deepotsav-2025 have been completed. In this event, the role of 33 thousand volunteers will be important, who will create a Guinness World Record by lighting 26 lakh 11 thousand 1101 lamps.
Ramnagari resonates with the joint initiative of the university and administration
The university administration has almost completed the work of laying lamps at all the ghats. Vice Chancellor Dr. Bijendra Singh himself inspected the ghats and gave directions to the officials. He says that “This festival of lights will be supernatural and unforgettable. The message of equality and harmony from Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Shri Ram, will reach the entire world.”

Diyas will be lit on 56 ghats, 75 member team is counting
The university’s team of more than 2,000 members is deployed at 56 ghats on the Saryu coast. Deepotsav Nodal Officer Prof. Sant Sharan Mishra said that more than 28 lakh lamps have been laid. Ghat wise lamps are being counted by the team of Guinness Book of World Records. On ghat number 10, the volunteers of the university have given the message of auspiciousness by making a huge symbol of ‘Swastika’ with 80 thousand lamps.
Special focus on security and discipline
Guidelines given to volunteers: Entry at the ghats without ID card will be prohibited. All the volunteers will be present at the ghats in cotton clothes only. Each volunteer will be given a one liter mustard oil bottle to fill the lamps. Special care will be taken to add oil and light the wick. University Registrar Vinay Kumar Singh said, “Prescribed number of candles, matchsticks and lighting materials have been made available at every ghat.
Solid arrangements for food, transportation and coordination were also made at the festival site.
Food arrangements have been made for all the volunteers and officials. This management is done by Prof. Under the leadership of Himanshu Shekhar Singh, Prof. It is being done by the team of Praveen Rai, Dr. Ramji Singh and Dr. Anurag Tiwari. Volunteers are being sent by 5 dozen buses from the university to the ghats. Traffic committee coordinator Prof. Anup Kumar said that all the teams are being reached to Ram Ki Paidi on time so that the program can be conducted smoothly.

A series of 56 ghats of Saryu coast will be lit up. On the day of Deepotsav, 19th October, every ghat of Ayodhya Saryu coast will be lit up.
