New generation Hyundai Venue
The new generation model of Venue will be launched in the Indian market on November 4, 2025. Booking has started at Hyundai dealerships with a token amount of Rs 25,000. The new Venue, built on the same platform as the Kia Ciros, will get a longer wheelbase. It is claimed that the new generation Hyundai Venue will be taller and wider than the current model. Some of the special features include dual 12.3-inch curved panoramic displays for the central touchscreen infotainment system and digital instrument cluster, quad beam LED headlamps, D-cut steering wheel, 2-step reclining seats, rear window sunshade, rear AC vents, electric 4-way driver seat and ambient lighting. Will happen. It will continue to be available with the existing 1.2L MPi petrol, 1.0L Turbo GDi petrol and 1.5L CRDi diesel engines with manual, automatic and DCT gearbox options.
Mahindra Vision S
Mahindra Vision S Concept was unveiled with much fanfare at the Freedom NU event in Mumbai. It is believed that this is an extension of the Scorpio nameplate in the compact SUV segment. Recently, pictures of the Vision S testing in production-ready form have surfaced. Built on the new NU iQ platform, the Mahindra Vision S will feature dual 12.3-inch screens for infotainment and driver display. It also includes a multi-function three-spoke steering wheel, panoramic sunroof and vertical AC vents. It is expected that this SUV will be launched by mid-2026.
New generation Tata Nexon
The new generation Tata Nexon, codenamed Garuda, is expected to be launched in the domestic market by the end of 2026. It will be based on a heavily modified version of the X1 platform of the current generation model. The new generation SUV will have many cosmetic and cosmetic updates, and many new features are also likely to be added. Technically, it will continue to have the same petrol and CNG engines. However, it remains to be seen whether the diesel engine will continue or not.
Maruti Frontex Hybrid
The Maruti Frontex Hybrid, codenamed Maruti YTB, will go on sale in the Indian market by mid-2026. The FrontX facelift will feature the brand’s own developed hybrid powertrain setup, consisting of a 1.2L Z-series petrol engine. According to reports, the 2026 Maruti Frontex Hybrid will give a mileage of 35 km/litre. The crossover will get cosmetic updates on the outside and new features inside the cabin. It will have many segment-first safety features including ADAS technology.
Maruti Micro SUV
Maruti Suzuki is preparing to compete with Hyundai Exeter and Tata Punch. This car, known by the codename Y43, may go on sale in the festive season of 2026, i.e. exactly a year later. Equipped with Swift’s 1.2L, 3-cylinder Z-series petrol engine, the Maruti Y43 will be sold through Nexa outlets. Its higher variants may also include stronger hybrid technology. Based on Heartect architecture, it will be packed with features like sunroof, 6-airbags, fully-digital instrument cluster, ventilated seats, 360-degree camera and touchscreen infotainment system.
