According to the information, the dispute started between Dinesh Yadav and Rahul Kumar, but soon the conflict reached the factions of Diwakar Yadav and Mithilesh Yadav alias Mitthu Yadav. Both the groups have been trying to establish influence in the area for a long time, and now in the election season this conflict has openly taken to the streets.

Local people say that as soon as elections come in Mokama and surrounding areas, old rivalries and battles for supremacy start raising their heads again. Police said- 4 arrested, rest absconding

After the incident, Ghoswari police station chief Madhusudan Kumar said that the police took immediate action and arrested four people. The arrested people have been identified as Dinesh Yadav, Gannu Yadav, Ranjit Kumar and Rahul Kumar. FIR has been registered against a total of 16 named accused. The police team is continuously conducting raids in search of the absconding accused.

According to the police, empty cartridges and country-made weapons have also been recovered from the spot. At present, no one has been confirmed injured, but it is feared that some people have minor injuries and are hiding due to fear of treatment.
