Relationship Crime: A heart-wrenching case came to light from Faridabad. Here a father beat a 4 year old girl so brutally that she died. A 4 year old girl could not count to 50 and was given death sentence by her father.
At every slap she would be crying and saying – Papa, don’t hit me…don’t hit me…she would be crying…begging…but still her heart would not fail and she kept on hitting. In the end, that innocent child’s breathing stopped…his birth father took away his life. This heart-wrenching story is related to Faridabad. The only crime of the 4 year old girl was that she could not count to 50. The father was arrested on the complaint of the girl’s mother. But the question is how a father can kill his daughter with such brutality.
The father used to take care of the children during the day.
Krishna and his wife, residents of Kharantia village of Sonbhadra, have been living on rent in Jhadsentali village of Faridabad for many years. Both used to work. In a private company, the wife works day shift and Krishna works night shift. He has 3 children, out of which one is no more in this world. 7 year old son, 4 year old daughter and 2 year old daughter. According to media reports, when the wife went to work during the day, Krishna used to take care of the children.
Death due to beating, but the excuse was falling down the stairs.
On January 21, Krishna was teaching his 4-year-old daughter at home and asked her to count to 50. 4 year old innocent girl could not count till 50. Hardly children at this age would be able to count to such an extent. But Krishna did not understand this and in anger he started beating him badly. Even the girl’s crying and pleading could not stop his hand; the hand stopped only when her breathing stopped. To cover up his crime, he made an excuse that his daughter fell down the stairs while playing.
Mother got the accused husband arrested
Accused Krishna shouted to his wife that their daughter had fallen down the stairs. He took him to the government hospital, where the doctor declared him dead. But a mother became suspicious after seeing marks of beating on the girl’s body. He informed the police about this. Police reached the spot and investigated and caught the father. During strict interrogation he confessed to his crime. A mother strengthened her daughter’s heart for justice and put her own husband behind bars.

Parenting with patience, not through fear and beatings
At an age when children need love, patience and understanding, imposing violence on them should not be tolerated at all. This incident shows that parenting does not just mean teaching, but also understanding the mental and emotional capabilities of the child. Not every child learns at the same pace. Children do not learn due to beatings, fear and pressure, but break down. The foundation of good parenting is built on patience, understanding and love, not on fear and beatings.
