Happy Janmashtami 2025: On the occasion of Janmashtami, a unique tradition is seen in Rajasthan, which fills devotees with spiritual pleasure. In Karauli, old settlement and Govinddevji temple of Jaipur, devotees get the privilege of full vision of three forms of Shri Krishna on the same day. This unique coincidence is called Tirupi Darshan. In these three temples, Shri Krishna’s head is somewhere or some torso, and somewhere, it is considered special importance for the devotees to worship on the same day.
Amazing tradition of complete vision in a single day
- The famous Madan Mohanji temple of Karauli is. There is a special recognition of Thakurji’s Charan darshan here. Devotees believe that these phases are the same as the feet of Shri Krishna and all the troubles are removed by their philosophy.
- The second pilgrimage is Gopinathji’s Katir Bhag in the old township of Jaipur. According to tradition, the Katir part of the statue of Gopinathji (part of the waist) is the same as it is considered to be the form of Shri Krishna in Brij.
- The third and last shrine is the famous Govinddevji Temple in Jaipur. There is Mukharvind Darshan of Thakurji here. Devotees believe that this is the same form, which Lord Krishna himself expressed his glimpse to the devotees.

Millions of crowds at amazing confluence
- On the day of Janmashtami, a rare coincidence of philosophy of these three forms is formed. Thousands of devotees travel from Karauli to Jaipur and go to the three pilgrimages and follow the tradition of full darshan. This is called Tirupi Darshan.
- The temples believe that this tradition was established by a devotee woman named Dadi. It is said that the grandmother had expressed his desire to get a glimpse of the entire Shri Krishna form by being disgusted. Since then this tradition is being played on every Janmashtami.
Unique festival of faith and faith
- Millions of devotees fast on this day and complete the fast only after visiting all three places. Special tableaux are decorated in temples, bhajan-kirtan echoes and the enthusiasm of the devotees is made on seeing it.
- In this way, devotees believe that they have got spiritual experience like Vrindavandham himself.
