Mahindra Automotive is the automaker in India with the most number of 4X4 SUVs on offer. Now, to make sure that its product portfolio is fully updated with proper 4X4 SUVs, the company is getting ready to launch not one but three new 4X4 SUVs in the country. So, without any delay, here are the details of the 3 upcoming Mahindra 4X4 SUVs.
Mahindra Thar Roxx Facelift – New Suspension Setup

First off, we have the Mahindra Thar Roxx, which is soon expected to get an important mechanical update. The SUV has already been spotted testing, and the latest test mules suggest that Mahindra is working on adding its DaVinci suspension technology. This system was recently introduced on the three-door Thar, now called the Thar OG.
The Thar Roxx already gets penta-link rear suspension and Frequency Dependent Dampers, which offer a balance between ride comfort and off-road capability. The DaVinci setup uses specially designed mechanical valves and a non-linear damping curve. This allows the suspension to better deal with large impacts and sharp cornering. Most likely, we could see its launch before the end of this year or by early next year. The rest of the engine, transmission and 4X4 system will remain the same.
Mahindra Scorpio-N Facelift – Lifestyler Inspired Design

Despite recently giving an update to the Scorpio-N, Mahindra is getting ready to launch another facelift of the Scorpio-N. The biggest change will be at the front, where it will get a new grille inspired by the recently unveiled Scorpio Lifestyler pickup. Mahindra has also filed a design patent for this grille, which features horizontal strips, rectangular elements and a central section for the Mahindra logo.
The facelift is also expected to get redesigned LED headlamps, new DRLs, a revised bumper, updated side cladding and new alloy wheels. Some features from the Lifestyler could also make their way into the cabin, including a portrait-oriented touchscreen, ventilated seats, dual-zone climate control and Level 2 ADAS.
The existing 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and 2.2-litre turbo-diesel engines are expected to continue with manual and automatic gearboxes. Importantly, 4×4 will continue to be offered with select diesel variants. The Scorpio-N facelift is expected to launch sometime in 2027. The exact launch date has not been confirmed.
Mahindra Scorpio Lifestyler – New 4×4 Pickup

The Scorpio Lifestyler will be the newest addition to Mahindra’s Scorpio family and will be sold as the Mahindra Lifestyler in international markets. In India, it will carry the Scorpio name and will become the third member of the family after the Scorpio Classic and Scorpio-N. Mahindra will launch the new lifestyle pickup in India in April 2027, with prices starting at Rs 19.79 lakh, ex-showroom.
The Lifestyler gets a double-cab body with a large front grille, L-shaped LED DRLs, a muscular bumper and an integrated skid plate. It also gets a large load bay, 18-inch wheels, road-biased tyres and disc brakes on all four wheels. At the rear, the pickup gets large MAHINDRA lettering and vertically positioned LED tail-lamps.
Mahindra has also showcased three accessory packages called Reef, Valley and Trail. On the inside, the Lifestyler will get a premium-looking cabin with leatherette upholstery and a large portrait-oriented touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and connected-car features.
Other expected features include ventilated seats, dual-zone climate control, a sunroof, rear AC vents, electronic parking brake, selectable terrain and drive modes, and Level 2 ADAS. The Lifestyler will be based on a new next-generation body-on-frame platform and is expected to use the Scorpio-N’s 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and 2.2-litre turbo-diesel engines.
Manual and automatic gearboxes are expected, and both 4X2 and 4X4 versions will be offered. This will make the Scorpio Lifestyler one of the most affordable new 4×4 lifestyle vehicles in India.
