3 Films, 3 Languages, 30 Days: Premalu Star Mamitha Baiju Eyes Rare Feat

Mamitha Baiju, who won hearts with Premalu, continued her impressive run with memorable performances in Dude and Kara. The actress is now on the verge of a rare milestone, with 3 films from 3 different industries set to release within a month, an achievement few young actors have managed.

The first among them is Jana Nayagan (Jana Nayakudu in Telugu), one of the biggest projects of her career. Starring Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay in the lead, the long-awaited political action drama features Mamitha in a key role. After multiple delays, the film is finally set to hit theatres this Thursday, July 23, giving her the opportunity to share screen space with one of Tamil cinema’s biggest stars.

Her next release is Vishwanath & Sons, which marks her Telugu debut. Directed by Venky Atluri and produced by Naga Vamsi, the bilingual Telugu-Tamil film pairs her opposite Suriya. The promotional material has presented her in a lively and bubbly avatar, and the film is slated for release on August 14.

Just a week later, on August 21, Mamitha returns to Malayalam cinema with Bethlehem Kudumba Unit. The romantic comedy reunites her with Premalu director Girish A.D., while Nivin Pauly plays the male lead. The film also marks their first on-screen pairing and is expected to appeal to audiences who enjoyed the light-hearted charm of Premalu.

With three releases across Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam within a span of just 30 days, Mamitha is entering a defining phase of her career. It is a rare opportunity for a young actress to have major releases across three industries in such a short period.

If the films strike a chord with audiences, they could significantly strengthen her position across South Indian cinema and open the door to even bigger opportunities.
