Kashi Vishwanath Corridor: Shiva procession was taken out on the fourth anniversary of Kashi Vishwanath Dham. This included the tableau of ropeway and women’s cricket team. In 4 years, 26.32 crore devotees visited and special puja rituals were also performed.
Varanasi: On the occasion of completion of four years of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Corridor, a special religious ritual was organized by scholars of 11 Vedic scriptures in the Vishwanath Dham complex. On this occasion, Deputy Collector of Dham, Shambhu Sharan, representing the temple trust, performed a special havan-puja by chanting Jayadi Mantra and Apratiratha Mantra.
On completion of 4 years, worship was done with Vedic mantras.
On completion of 4 years, a special Havan-Pooja was performed by 11 Vedic Shastris in the prescribed Vedic manner at Shastri Chowk of Kashi Vishwanath Dham. According to religious belief, these mantras were used by the gods to conquer the demons. With this spirit, this ritual was performed for the progress of the Dham, public welfare and well-being of the nation.
More than 26 crore devotees reached Kashi in 4 years
This program organized by the Temple Trust symbolized the spiritual achievements of four successful years of renovation of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham and the preservation of Sanatan tradition. Dham Deputy Collector Shambhu Sharan said that 4 years have been completed since its inauguration. In these four years, 26 crore 32 lakh people received blessings by having darshan of Shri Kashi Vishwanath. Cultural process and worship method is going on in the temple council since morning. He said that most of the mantras and all the Vedas will be recited. A cultural program is to be organized in the evening. Tomorrow on Sunday, special Rudra Abhishek will be held on all the idols and the evening will conclude after a cultural programme.
