Ghazipur Range Officer said that a case has been registered against all the accused under sections 2, 9, 11, 39, 48B, 49B, 50 and 51 of the Indian Wildlife Protection Act 1972. The Forest Department is now also investigating the contacts of these smugglers. Soon action will be taken against them as an interstate crime gang.
