The major festivals of fasting and meditation of the world’s three largest religions, Sanatan Dharma, Islam and Christianity, are falling almost nearby. The coming together of Chaitra Navratri, the holy month of Ramzan and the Lent period of Christianity is being considered as a coincidence. For a period of about 30 days, devotees of all three religions will observe fasting, prayer and self-restraint.
According to the calendar, while Chaitra Navratri will be celebrated starting from 19th March 2026 till 27th March 2026, the holy month of Ramzan in India is starting from 19th February.
